- The CD-ROM is multi-platform and will run properly on any Windows or Macintosh operating system. It utilizes your default web browser
- Full-size JPG images. The largest scans online are sized for a 640 x 480 computer monitor. There are additional JPGs on the CD-ROM which average 900 x 700 or more
- Photographers under development. The CD-ROM will be constantly updated as site content is revised. In addition, as other photographers and more photographs for current photographers are accumulated, they will be available first on the CD-ROM, long before their inclusion online. Currently, the CD-ROM has additional scans from Ansel Adams, Andre Kertesz, David Hill/Robert Adamson and Alexander Gardner, among others.
