Kodak Essay , Mariah Franco 2nd
Photographers get up early and stay late, no matter what the weather conditions are. Haze and fog make for a pretty blue, white and black palette giving a chance to concentrate on composition. Make the photos rich and full with content, color and composition. Composing the perfect photo is easy with a little set-up time and basic techniques. The challenge that remains is to compose a good picture by controlling how the subject is seen and what emotions are felt by the viewer. One of the most common mistakes of amateur photographers is placing the subject smack dab in the middle of the frame. This makes a picture more static and less interesting. Before you shoot, take a look around for an uncomplicated backdrop that complements the subject instead of competing with it. Balance the photo you can also be achieved by creating simple geometric shapes. Following these guidelines, will help you atleast some what start to see things differently through the viewfinderand take great shots more often.
